The frame is narrower. New Cab/Running board brackets, Radiator support and several other pieces had to be designed for that kit.
The Frame you'll want to use is pretty much any of the Regular Cab Long beds (118") 82-04 The newer trucks might have some extra bracketry that needs trimmed (depending on the years) I'd recommend focusing on the older Box Body S-10's Usually they can be had cheaper.
The extended cab trucks are 123" and could be made to work, but would require shortening the frame.
Give Ed a Call (E-Z Chassis) he designed the kit and is the best to talk to on the 41-46 setup. Tell him Mongo sent ya'.
