Well, it's confirmed. We got the motor running (it had been sitting in a field for about 10 years with the air cleaner off, and it still runs! LOL. Talk about a great motor) and found out quickly it has bad rod knock.
Unless anyone has a brilliant or cheap way to overcome this, I will be putting in a chevy 350. I think this will be the cheapest method---
