I have a 1960 apache 1.5 ton dual wheel i think it has a 235 in it. i think it might need bearings idle to about 1300rpm its quiet but aything faster it has a knock, it has a canister oil filter mounted on the intake. Were these engines eqipped with that from the factory or could it be something somebody added later on. I have also read about modifying the block for full pressure oiling how do i or can i tell if i have that or not with out tearing the engine down
