i've rolled epoxy primer and it looks good. good enough that i think its a decent solution that helped me avoid a lot of the hassels/hurdles of getting a hvlp set up.
it is a good way to get paint on to metal and stop the deterioration of the body.
i have not tried to get a glossy fininsh though, and all the sanding to there might be more trouble then its worth. i guess it comes down to the time vs. money equation.
