The heater motor ( new ) in my 66 when run on high will blow a 10A fuse within a few seconds. Checked the motor and it draws 2.5 amps when connected directly to the battery. The fuse box says 10a beside the fuse but also says " A/C 20A " with an arrow pointing at the same fuse. I put a 15 amp fuse in and it seems to be working ok but I don't want to take any chances.
Anybody know what amp fuse the truck should be using? Or am I OK with a 15 or even 20 amp fuse? Its got the deluxe heater but no A/C. Just got the truck back on the road- It wasn't driveable when we got it so no idea what might have been there before.
