| | | | Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 1,820 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 1,820 | You can buy a cheap pitman arm puller at places like Harbor Freight Tools for about $10.00 or so, or rent one at your local FLAPS.
To remove the arm, put the puller jaws behind the arm after loosening the nut on the arm and screw the large bolt on the puller into the sector shaft coming out of the steering box. Do not remove the bolt - just loosen it so the arm doesn't come flying off in your face. Be careful!
