Cletis,Funny you mentioned that,I have been w/state farm for years and I just took my latest '67 c-10 by my agents office, told them it was a driver and they still gave me 'agreed value' of 7500 (I paid 1350)...the lady walked outside, looked down one side of it and the front (from just out the office door) and said OK...it raised my premium only like 60 bucks a year by adding that over just liability coverages req'd in Florida...I asked her how in the world I was getting away so cheap and she said because 7500 is pocket change comp to med costs and new car replacement/parts/work....
I re-iterated to her that it was a driver and I was astonished at the minimal cost and that I still felt like something was just too easy about that and she said nope...all legit....having multiple autos on the policy may have had a lot of bearing too but I dunno...
I know some of the collector insurers will not write drivers or allow towing which killed it for me with boats...I tried some that I saw advert on "My Classic Car"....
