And your in the same boat that I am Lonnie. The 1949 Salesmans data book is either wrong or they changed the frames after '49. I have a '50, 3600 and my buddy has a '50, 3100. I measured both frames and the mounting holes for the sway bar and they are both the same, i.e., 25 1/2". Now just how in the H#$$ are we supposed to become experts when we get bad information like this from GM.
So, to get back to the CPP anti-sway bar it doesn't look like there is going to be any problem after all.
