Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 10 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 10 | I'm replacing the clutch in my 64 GMC. It has a 305 V6 with a SM420 transmission. The existing release bearing is a BCA 614018 and seems too short to allow for any adjustments. The connecting rod to the clutch pedal is all the way out and the fork just barely engages the borg/beck pressure plate tabs. Does anyone know of a "longer" release bearing to correct for this? The pressure plate is in good shape and I don't want to replace it if not necessary. | | |
