I would say You should shop around for a good rebuilding shop in Your area , I am lucky that I live close to Chicago and have many good shops , I do My own work and just farm out the machining it is not as hard as You might think as long as You follow and read the instuctions , there are many good books to help You along the way and of coarse the bolters will help.If You can take it apart You can take the short block to a shop and have it redone than You will know that Your engine is going to give You good service for many years .
