crenwelge 'Bolter C Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 4,961 Fredericksburg, Texas	If you plan ever hauling a load with it, I would not recommend oiling the springs. Rust removal is ok, but springs depend on friction for load carrying and oiling them will cause them to break if you hit something like a pot hole with a load.
