I recently installed a 6.5 psi Carter inline electric fuel pump mainly as a backup to the new stock one on my 350 chevy intending to run both.
Upon putting the wood in my bed I unknowingly knocked a wire off the electric FP.
A few days later I went for a ride noticing I didn't hear the electric running but I thought no problem as the stock one will work until I get home to figure out why the electric wasn't working.
After about 5-6 miles going up a hill it died like it was out of gas. And wouln't restart.
Am I wrong in thinking either one should work if the other fails or do I need to remove one or the other? Or was this just a fluke?
I am sure I used to do this back in the day.
