I have always had good results with Hastings ring sets in my Chevy and Harley engines. Moly top, cast second, three piece oil, with final hone finish 320 sc grit @ 60 degrees crosshatch. They usually seat in under 100 miles and if the engine isn't run hot they will last till the rods start knocking.
