Alvin, Fortunatly with this stuff you don't have to cover the entire area to achieve good sound deadening. As for coming loose or any toxic fumes, I have had peel & seal in my truck for more than 4 years and have not noticed any smell or problems with coming loose, and I've had it out in the hot So. Cal. sun (over 100 degrees) many times.
