hello everyone, im new to the forum my truck is a 1966 Chevrolet C/60 wrecker Powered by a target master 366 cid big block. Mader was born as a dealer towtruck for the local chevrolet dealership, after they closed the doors she was baught and abused to the point of sadness. To my openion it was crazy to treat a local icon this way. when the time came to buy her i jumped at it, Still in service and working hard everyday "mader" (as the local kids call her) is my first wrecker. The funny thing is when i was a little kid i always seen this truck in town and wanted to drive it and is the reason im in this buisness today. although she wasent quite as i remembered her (time wasent kind and neather was the former owner) when shes not on the road working shes in the shop gettin something new added to her or getting something put back on her she was missing. The kids big and. small still turn their heads when mader comes rumbling by. I enjoy when i see kids buy the road jumping up and down wanting me to blow the airhorn, and i do it gladly. More times the not ive had oldtimers walk up to me and tell me the story of how they remember this truck as one of the first here in the tow buisness then they proced to tell me the night they broke down and how this was the truck that came to the rescue. Slowley but surley this local icon is comming back better than ever and i get to have the honor of saying shes all mine !

It don't rust if you run it hard enough
