| | | | Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 53 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 53 | Thanks for the information, the chassis is the same as a 62 c10 with torsion front end ect ect, I was given this ID chart and i have identified that mine is the 344 chevrolet transmission, i will rebuild this! i found out today that the second gear has a back cut on it that is to keep it in gear, and if that back cut is worn it would jump out like mine, so i will have to find out how many teeth this second gear has and find a replacement... thanks jeff [IMG][IMG] http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v82/superpieboy/trannyid-1.jpg[/IMG][/IMG] | | |
