Thanks Wrenchbender, I'll go ahead and button it up then after checking it the new pump plunger.

Edit: I tried it with some gas, and put my finger over the hole with the ball and spring so that it would spray into the throat and it worked perfectly. I'll put it back on the truck this Thursday and I'll let you all know how she fires up.
