Have 1954 3100 completely restored, stock Chevy truck and getting ready to place the proper decals on the valve cover and HD oil bath air cleaner. Question to the knowledgeable. The Thriftmaster 235 valve cover decal goes on the side of the cover. WHICH SIDE? The carb side or the distributor side. I have the decal for the HD oil bath air cleaner. Where does it go, on the lid top or the oil can container side? Thanks for any help
Tons of thanks to Tim Lederman who nailed it for me. Decals are now in place according to Chevy assembly manual.
