For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 105 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 105 | Hi everyone,
I would like to get your advice on what turn signal switch would be the best. I know I have to get a 7 wire switch but is what is the difference between the $25 switch in most parts catalogues and the more expensives switches? The truck is a 51 3100 currently has a 5 wire turn signal switch with an exra set of ligts on the back that were wired as tailights and signals by a previous owner. Front parking lights have been converted to dual contact so they work fine. I have a set of set of reproduction tail lights and have been reading previous posts and have read the tech article on wiring them up.
Just wanted to get some advice from those more knowledgeable then I.
Thanks for your time.
