Hy GMCUSTOM, first put the engine you don't want in the "FREEBIES forum", we don't like to see parts for these old trucks taken to the dump! As for the 350 swap, it is almost a drop in, and the tranny will be compatable. GMCs V8 was a Pontiac, but the Chevy 350 can be swapped in fairly easily using mostly factory parts, hope that helps.
