Hi guys, I,m a newby to the site. Encountering a problem replacing cam gear with engine in truck ('62 long bed w/235. Is it permissable to use the thrust washer mounting holes to pull a new gear on to cam???? Blistered hands already trying to do it by hand with 250 degree heated gear & hammer.
