From Jefferson Bryant's book, you can match an LS-based motor to an older transmission. Get the GM retrofit bellhousing which allows the LS motors to be bolted to Muncie, T-10, Saginaw, Richmond, TKO, Tremec T56-011. See Pace Performance who is a reseller. LS truck flywheel is used which is GM partno 12561680 12-inch clutch and pressue plate P/N RAM88744 and 6 pressure plate bolts P/N 12561465.

He also says McLeod and Advance Adapters offer aftermarket versions of the same thing.
