The best one for putting these old trucks are the mid 80's S-10 pickup ones. The 88 up went to an electronic speedo so is not good unless you have custom gauges w/elec. speedo or a expensive adapter. The S-10 used it up into the mid 90's. The Camero version is stouter but the shifter is way back at the rear so must be used with bucket seats. They were used in Mustangs, Jeeps, & Mazdas & others but each has its own specifications.
