Hey everyone...
Still working on my 1966 C30. She has the original 327 in her with 27,000 miles.
I have noticed a slight tapping noise at higher RPMs. The noise is not there at low RPMs. Honestly if I had a loud exhaust, I bet I would not hear this.
I looked for any blow by at the exhaust manifolds but found none. She does not burn any fluids. I am using 20w50 in her per the previous owner's instructions.
Any idea what this noise might be? Am I harming the engine? Can I use one of those engine treatments for "Noisy Valves"?
