| | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 161 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 161 | some of you may remember I burnt a hole in a piston. it was hard, but I got it running and I'm happy!
what all I did:
-replace piston
-valve job
-carb kit
-plug wires
=then it locked up. turned out starter was sticking to the flywheel
-put in 4th gear and rocked it
=then it turned over but no spark
-measured all volts and ohms
-replaced faulty coil
=it runs! so i check vitals: radiator stays cold. to do:
-replace lower radiator hose. it's blocked!
=I decide to drive 2 inches: no brakes. check under truck. to do:
-replace brake line
=also to do: adjust valves
but I'm happy with this!!! | | |
