Good for you, now maybe you can help me with my problem, that is similiar to yours. I replaced my ignition switch, the old did not have a key, so i bought the whole ignition switch and tumbler. It is for a 1953 3100. The switch only has two postions, it has a push button starter and a solenoid. When i installed the new ignition switch, i made sure that i placed the wires in the same positions, but now, when i turn on the switch on, it does not register any power, i can tell when i does because the turn signal light turn on, indicating power. Also, the Solenoid gets real hot when i connect the battery. So, two problems, is there a schematic out there, to see if i installed the wires corretly, and whey is the coil getting so hot? Thanks,
