For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 28 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 28 | I have been using this wonderful resource (stovebolt site) for years to gather information and decide what to do with my 1941 1-Ton GMC w/flatbed. The trucks I have seen from this site are truly incredible. I landed on turning it into a 3/4 T longbox pickup and will keep everything else as original as I can. So I cut the 8" diameter tree down that grew between the front bumper and the grill since the last time I moved it; and pulled it into the garage. I have it all torn down to the 135" wheelbase frame (soon to be shortned). The 248 engine will be put on the stand for re-build as soon as I can figure out how to properly remove the transmission and bell housing. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated. | | |
