#52567 11/18/2005 1:27 AM | Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 67 Member | | Member Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 67 | I have one of those chrome type 'breather'caps on my valve cover on my st6 250 and it is beggining to seep a little oil and it's getting on the cleaned and painted motor ... on my "400" eng in my other 67 c-10 it has one of those hoses from the valve cover to the air breather ...some kind of emmissions control thing I guess...not having much effect I'd say... my question is will the PCV valve take care of venting if I close off the one from the covers to the air breather and change the chrome one on the 250 to a basic cap to stop the minor leaks?...
