I bought a kit on eBay that has the top bracket as in Bill's photo and had a bracket for the bottom side of the alternator that bolted to the header (I think they are Corvette headers). I couldn't get the bottom mount kit that "old dog" linked to, to line up correctly with my engine (62 283 with a short water pump). Although I have seen it used on what appears to be long water pump engines. Thanks to Bill's advice I was able to identify the proper mounting kit. | | |
