That is a terrific side cover (and truck - I hope that mine comes out even close to it!). Did you make the sidecover yourself? As I recall, our member 6cylindersovertexas has a somewhat similar side cover on his 261 in a 1937 pickup. Of course, a dedicated nit-picker would complain about the upper row of attachment screws being in the wrong location, but I won't tell anyone. One could also "install" some fake 1/4-20 pan head screws up where the original 216 side cover attaches to the head, and cover the 'real" screws that attach the new sidecover to the upper face of the side of the 235 or 261 block with a "decorative" strip of machined aluminum to complement the rest of the sidecover. That would probably be easier that converting a 41-49 Hi-Torque 235 to full pressure and insert bearings.
