#52426 11/16/2005 6:40 PM | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 8 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 8 | Yup it's a V-8. but the cylinder banks are off set by the width of the con-rod big ends, about 2 inches so I guess the length of the v-8 engine would close to 4 1/2 cylinders.
I've got a 455 in a '58 Buick Century. She's a "tail finned rollin locomotive" for sure. I love that engine.
