My dad was a mechanic in the Army, Korea. He was one of those guy's that could get anything you wanted--- he had Jeep keys. The brass would need a Jeep and good ol dad would barter with them until he got what he wanted. Anyway I have his old tool set some of the things in it I do scratch my head over. He had a tool that I just could not figure out, it has a 1/2 in squear drive on one end and a 1" flat blade screwdriver on the other. Several years went by and i was working on a 53 bolt when I saw what that was for. It is a drag link end adjusting tool.
I have Grandan's tool box and tackle box also. All he had was bent tractor wrenches, pliers, and screwdrivers. His tackle box had some really coo s--t!! But that another story.
