My dust caps were set in place via "peening" of the edges in 4 places. Drilled a hole in the cap and pressed the pin out as Wrench and Trucker state. Then flipped them over and pushed the cap out fom the back side.
When I put the new ones in I put a tad of JB Weld on them instead.
