Mark - yes. This is the 0.050 size in the earliest series of the type B jets. No problem.

Stuart - yes, but by the time you have reached the end of the 1/4 mile, the solder is somewhere in your engine, no longer in the jet. Solder is so soft that gasoline will erode it like a river erodes a levee.
