For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 374 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 374 | I have created a few posts regarding questions recently as I undergo this swap. Another question has arisen. Can I use the 'harmonic balancer' off of the 216 so I can have the wider belt (and also the original hand crank assembly)? Will it affect the 235? Is the 216 bottom pulley even a balancer? I see no rubber ring in the center as I do on the 235... Are both of these pulleys pressed on and need a hb remover to uninstall? See pics for reference of all my questions. Thanks! 235 balancer 216 balancer Just an additional pic to see the 216 out of the way. My buddy said it looked like a 'gutted bass'. 216 removed | | |
