Just "rebuilt" the American-Bosch wiper motor that was on my '41 1.5 ton. Has a "47" stamped in the case, guessing that's the year it was installed. The wire was run from the switch (above the windshield to the R. of the wiper motor) through the original vacuum line, down to the light switch for power.

Thought that was kinda cute.

Anyway, knowing they put it there 6 years after the truck was born makes me mind less that it's not "original". And, works well, no matter engine speed.
