The last time my mechanic worked on my 67 I asked him to hook up an Automatic Choke for me. After he looked at it he said I'd need to buy a brand new Edelbrock Intake and Carb, and then he'd have to do some tricky wiring to get it to work.

Sounded like a bunch of carp to me, so I passed on his advice.

It is a 67 Chevy PU, with a 350 and 4 Bbl carb. The Automatic Choke does not work at all.

Is it really all that complicated to make one work? What do I need to look for? I'll be happy to take some Close-Up pics and post them somewhere if anyone can help me.

Thanks,
Davey

I'm not sure if I was ever as good as I thought I was, but I know I'm not as good as I used to be.
I've forgotten more than I ever knew. Okay, where did I put it?
