| | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 7 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 7 | If the 228 is like the 270, there is a small oil line that enters the head on the front left that feeds oil to the rockers through a passage in the head up through the mounting foot. Mine was clogged at this fitting. Took it apart and cleaned. Good flow after that. Good luck. | | |
