I used a 76 -Olds Cutlass diff and it was the exact width, After welding in homemade perches, I redrilled the hole in the perches closer to the front to keep the diff in the right location. I then used in combination with the original shock mounts ,ones out of a 57 chev car and U-bolts I picked up at the local Canadian Tire for $28 . Total cost was $45 ,including the price of the rear end. Screw the kit, make your own stuff. :-)
