Just roll the engine over by hand (clockwise from the front)until the BB is under the pointer with the engine stopped, loosen the timing clamp, turn the dizzy clockwise until the points close, and turn back CCW until they just barely open. Lock the clamp down. The timing is set close enough to run without any problems. You can tweak it a tiny bit up or down from there for the best power and least detonation. Jerry
