In my opinion, the step bumper would look out of place. If towing capability is what you are after, look in LMC 1960-1966
Chevy catalog page 46. That is the best set up for towing, and when not using it, kind of hidden. All this is just my way of thinking. All that matters is what you want. Your truck, your money, your style.
