You can easily remove the 2 caps that attach to the rear end yoke. Just slide them off & mark them so they go back on the same end of the trunnion. Then you can pry the shaft to the yoke & put the caps back on. If it has a center bearing you can loosen it up or take it loose to get the shaft in position.
