I had a Porsche 914 from Ca. a few years back.
The insulation was like Bakelite. I had a scare with that one!

I've seen a couple of cars burn up because of bad wiring (Not pretty!) eeeek

I'm going to be doing a rewire soon too. I'm quite looking forward to it! grin
