About a week ago I got to the point in the resurection that I needed to install it. I found that it would not clear the stock choke cable at all. After posting here, I found that there are 2 different P/N' wipers for the 47-53 trucks-- one that clears the stock cable location, and one that doesn't. NONE of the parts vendors show this.
I contacted Newport-- they are going to change my bracket for me-- I just have to send to them. thought I would share this info about great product support. | | |
