Pulling the valve cover is the first thing to do. You may have a broken rocker or a dislodged pushrod.
They are a great motor to work on. I really enjoyed rebuilding mine and it now runs just as smooth as can be. I was offered a good running 235 but there is no way that I wanted to give up my 216. | | |
