Persnally I dont like them. If it starts comeing loose you will be in a worse mess. If a new tank is readily available for your model I think that is the way to go. If its minor rust you can put a in line filter under the tank & check it often at first. If its serious rust & there is no replacement available use the sealer but follow directions to the T & dont rush it.
