I am converting a 1965 Fleetside truck to a Stepside truck. I know the rear bumpers are completely different, but I am thinking the center two bumper braces are the same on both the fleetside and the stepside. Does anyone know for sure? I looked at LMC truck's catalog and the drawings they show for both are the same drawings but they list different part numbers. I am a pretty good hand at fabricating, so I'll probably modify my fleetside braces to fit the stepside bumper I have. I was just hoping the center two would fit up right out of the gate. Sure would be nice if one one you fellers who have both trucks would take a peek and let me know. Thanks in advance. Jim in Tennessee.
