Did you see the resto of an AD in Vintage Truck about 1/2 a year ago? They had a 283 painted up in Packard green or some such thing and they highlighted the Chevrolet valve cover script in silver. It was non-stock but professionally done and the results were awesome. It's all good, you know. Imagine looking under the hood of some dark colored truck and being hit in the face with a fire-red smallblock! Lookin' good, ain't it? grin
