I'm new here and need a question answered. Are the doors from a 1946 Chevrolet 1/2 ton interchangeable with a 1946 GMC 1/2 ton pick up? From what I've been reading, I think the answer is yes, but I'd like a more informed opinion from an experienced Stovebolter.
I'm picking up my first Art Deco truck tomorrow. It's a '46 GMC with a utility bed. I will post some pictures shortly. This truck is in pretty good shape and is in running condition [I plan on driving it home]; however, the bottoms of the doors are very badly rusted and my novice opinion is that it is better/cheaper to replace them than repair them. Any thoughts?
