atomarc 'Bolter A Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 5,708 Eureka, CA	Ron, I would certainly do a compression check before I ordered a carb...you might pull the plugs and line them up on the work bench in order, comparing the electrode color. It is possible to retard the timing SO much that the engine would run in almost any condition. Stuart.
